Sophisticated global tapas and creative dishes draw trendy
crowds to this uber-cool restaurant lounge next to the
Fox Theatre. |
The Scene
Step into a softly lit intimate space where international rhythms
meet modern chic. The loft-like upper level is decorated with
Moroccan cushions and cozy alcoves perfect for groups; the lower
level has a smattering of brightly colored velvet chairs and
small tables. The friendly waitstaff create a pleasant vibe
and drinks flow effortlessly from the bar, which can get crowded
on late nights.
The Food
The Mediterranean-influenced tapas menu is divvied up into
three sections: micro, mini and macro. Mouthwatering small
plates include fresh scallop couscous and fig-kissed prosciutto
ravioli; creative sauces feature a hint of cinnamon or a dash
of spearmint. The artistic presentation of the dishes will
inspire "oohs" and "ahhs," but it's the
wondrous bursts of flavor that leave an impression. Finish
with a flourish: the divine chocolate tart.
